Chinese Stewartia (lat. Stewartia sinensis) is a deciduous tree or large shrub that belongs to the Theaceae family. It is highly prized by horticulturists and landscape designers for its exceptional aesthetic qualities, including a striking exfoliating bark and elegant, camellia-like white flowers that bloom in the summer.

The species originates from the mountainous forests of China.
