Mongolian Ptilagrostis (lat. Ptilagrostis mongholica) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Poaceae family. Often associated with high-altitude steppe ecosystems, it serves as a crucial forage resource in regions where climate conditions are too harsh for traditional cereal crops.
The native range and primary cultivation areas include Mongolia, China, and parts of Southern Siberia.
