Yellow trillium

Yellow trillium (Trillium luteum) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Melanthiaceae family. It is widely recognized among gardeners for its distinctive yellow blooms and mottled foliage, making it a desirable specimen for woodland garden themes.

The species is native to the southeastern United States, primarily inhabiting rich, moist deciduous forests.
