Silver mullein

Silver mullein (Verbascum argenteum) is a distinctive perennial plant belonging to the Scrophulariaceae family. It is highly valued by gardeners and landscape designers for its striking, densely silver-haired foliage and elegant, towering flower spikes that add vertical interest to sunny borders.

The native range of this species is concentrated in Southeastern Europe, particularly across the Balkan Peninsula. Providing a gravel mulch can help keep the foliage dry and healthy.
