Noble mullein

Noble mullein (lat. Verbascum nobile) is a biennial or perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Scrophulariaceae family. Recognized for its pharmacological properties, this species is cultivated as a medicinal crop, primarily harvested for its inflorescences which contain active compounds such as mucilage, flavonoids, and saponins.

The plant originates from Southeastern Europe, naturally occurring in open, rocky habitats, forest edges, and dry meadows.
