Vicia eriocarpa, commonly known as woolly-pod vetch, is an annual leguminous plant belonging to the Fabaceae family. The plant originates from the Mediterranean basin and parts of Western Asia. Its natural range and cultivation areas primarily include Southern Europe and the Middle East, where the climate allows for optimal growth during the cooler, moister seasons.
