Peregrine vetch

Peregrine vetch (Vicia peregrina) is an annual herbaceous plant belonging to the Fabaceae family. As a member of the vetch genus, this crop is valued for its nutritional density, particularly its high protein content, which makes it a useful component in fodder production and livestock nutrition.

Agricultural management involves careful seedbed preparation and monitoring for typical legume pests such as aphids and seed-eating weevils, as well as fungal pathogens in humid conditions.
