Weyer's butterfly-bush

Weyer's butterfly-bush (lat. Buddleja x weyeriana) is a distinctive ornamental shrub, which is a hybrid cross between Buddleja davidii and Buddleja globosa. The plant belongs to the Scrophulariaceae family. It is highly regarded by horticulturists for its unique floral characteristics and its ability to act as a significant nectar source for various pollinators.

Originating from England in the early 20th century, this hybrid was developed to combine the hardiness and floral display of its parents.
