This virus colonizes the plant's phloem, disrupting essential nutrient distribution and inhibiting normal development.
The primary host for this disease is the globe artichoke (Cynara cardunculus). Once the plant is infected, the virus spreads throughout its entire system, making complete recovery nearly impossible.
