Bevemovirus is a genus of plant viruses within the Secoviridae family. These pathogens are characterized by a linear single-stranded RNA genome and typically affect agricultural crops by inducing systemic viral infections. The primary hosts for these viruses are members of the Amaranthaceae family, most notably sugar and fodder beets.
