Festuca streak virus (Cytorhabdovirus festucae) is a viral plant pathogen belonging to the Rhabdoviridae family. As a systemic disease, it interferes with the physiological processes of host plants, leading to impaired growth, reduced vigor, and significant damage to the quality of the vegetation.

The primary hosts of this virus are various species of the Festuca genus, although other grasses may also be affected. The disease is particularly problematic in seed production areas, where even low levels of infection can result in significant economic losses due to the lower quality and quantity of harvested seeds.

Symptoms of the infection typically manifest as chlorotic streaks and stripes along the leaf blades.
