Dichorhavirus is a genus of plant-infecting viruses belonging to the family Rhabdoviridae. These pathogens are known to cause significant systemic diseases in various agricultural and horticultural crops, primarily affecting members of the Solanaceae family, including tomatoes and peppers.

The biological nature of the virus involves the infection of host vascular tissues, leading to systemic disruption of the plant's physiological processes. Once a plant is infected, the virus spreads through the phloem, causing severe developmental issues that impede both vegetative growth and fruit production capacity.

Typical symptoms include the development of chlorotic spots, distinctive ring-spot patterns, leaf curling, and mosaic-like discoloration.
