Olive marafivirus (Marafivirus oleae) is a viral plant pathogen known for causing chlorotic symptoms in olive trees (Olea europaea). As a member of the genus Marafivirus, this pathogen has gained attention due to its potential to negatively affect olive yields and orchard longevity in Mediterranean and other olive-growing regions.

The transmission of this virus occurs primarily through infected grafting material and specific insect vectors. Certain species of insects that feed on plant sap act as efficient carriers, moving the virus from infected trees to healthy ones.
