The host range of this virus primarily includes perennial woody crops such as grapevines and various fruit trees. However, it can also affect various herbaceous weeds that serve as asymptomatic reservoirs, allowing the virus to persist in the environment even in the absence of primary crops for a short duration.
Symptoms of the infection typically include chlorotic mottling, mosaic patterns on leaves, stunted growth, and internode shortening.
