Italian nepovirus (Nepovirus italiaense) is a viral plant pathogen that belongs to the Nepovirus genus, known for its significant impact on perennial crops. The virus is primarily transmitted by soil-dwelling nematodes, which act as vectors, facilitating the spread of the infection within agricultural fields. Understanding the biological nature of this pathogen is crucial for effective nursery management.
