Pelarspovirus rosae is a viral pathogen that primarily affects roses, belonging to the group of viruses that disrupt the physiological processes of ornamental plants. As an obligate parasite, it relies entirely on the host plant for reproduction, systematically invading the vascular system and cellular structure.
The virus has a specific host range, focusing on Rosa species, though its presence can be detected in various hybrids cultivated for commercial or ornamental purposes.
