Torradovirus marchitezum is a harmful plant disease caused by a virus belonging to the genus Torradovirus. This pathogen triggers a systemic infection that disrupts metabolic processes in host plants, leading to severe stunted growth, yield loss, and often the death of the crop.

Tomatoes are the primary host for this virus, although other Solanaceae species are considered susceptible. The virus infiltrates the plant's vascular system, rapidly spreading throughout all vegetative and reproductive parts, which makes the containment of an active infection particularly challenging for agronomists.

Common symptoms include severe leaf curling, distortion, chlorotic spotting, stem necrosis, and wilting of the growing point.
