Tralespevirus is a genus of plant-infecting viruses within the Betaflexiviridae family. As a systemic plant pathogen, it poses a significant challenge to global agriculture, as it infects various crops by interfering with their cellular metabolism. The virus primarily affects solanaceous and leguminous crops. It acts by colonizing the vascular system of the host plant, leading to stunted growth and reduced photosynthetic capacity.
