GARDEN QUEEN

Actinidia kolomikta «Garden Queen» – female type of plant, requiring a male pollinator for full fruiting. The plant is distinguished by good winter hardiness (up to -35 °C) and resistance to diseases and pests, making it an ideal choice for gardens with harsh climatic conditions.

«Garden Queen» is a vertical vine plant that can reach a height of 7–9 meters. The leaves are variegated, and fruit ripening occurs early – in early August. The berries are medium-sized (about 3.5 cm) and weigh approximately 4 grams, having an olive color with a possible rosy hue. The taste is sweet-and-sour, with a pronounced apple aroma, and a high level of vitamin C makes the fruits excellent for dessert dishes.

For successful cultivation of the plant, it is necessary to provide support and regular feeding with mineral fertilizers. With proper care, «Garden Queen» will not only become a decorative element of the landscape, but also a source of tasty berries that can be used in cooking or simply enjoyed fresh.
