Purpose and Class

Bulat mini-tractors represent a line of compact agricultural machinery aimed at small and medium-sized farms. This equipment belongs to the class of small-sized machines with engine power ranging from 24 to 50 horsepower. Its primary purpose is the mechanization of labor-intensive processes on plots ranging from 0.5 to 10 hectares, including soil tillage, seeding operations, row-crop maintenance, and cargo transportation.

Engine and Transmission

Depending on the model, the machinery is equipped with reliable liquid-cooled diesel engines, such as the popular KM385BT series or more powerful 4-cylinder units. The power plants are characterized by high torque at low engine speeds, which is critical when plowing heavy soils. The transmission is typically a mechanical gearbox with a (3+1)x2 or (4+1)x2 layout, providing a wide range of speeds for both field operations and transport needs.

Drive and Chassis

The Bulat model range includes versions with 4x2 and 4x4 wheel drive. All-wheel drive modifications feature a disengageable front axle, allowing for effective use in off-road conditions and on wet soils. Rear axle differential lock significantly increases traction, preventing wheel slip when working with a plow or rotary tiller. Adjustable front and rear wheel tracks ensure adaptability to various row spacings during cultivation.

Hydraulics and Attaching Equipment

The attachment system is based on a standard Category 1 three-point hitch. Lifting capacity varies from 400 to 600 kg, allowing for the use of active and passive implements: disc harrows, two- and three-bottom plows, mowers, potato diggers, and sprayers. The hydraulic system is equipped with a dedicated pump (NS type) ensuring stable pressure in the circuit when operating heavy implements.

Application in Agricultural Operations

Bulat tractors are optimized for a full cycle of field operations. In spring, the equipment is used for pre-seeding soil preparation by milling and plowing. During the summer, the units are employed for inter-row cultivation of vegetable crops, fertilizer application, and haymaking. In autumn, the tractor effectively handles root crop harvesting and transporting the harvested produce from the field to storage locations.

Maintenance and Reliability

The Bulat design focuses on maximum field maintainability. Access to engine and transmission components is unobstructed, reducing time required for daily maintenance. Consumables such as filters and belts are standardized, which greatly simplifies the search for spare parts. High component reliability is achieved through the use of reinforced gears in the transmission and durable seals in the hydraulic system.
