This plant is especially suitable for the coastal area and decorative compositions in gardens, mixed borders, and balconies. "Livadia" prefers abundant watering – it is moisture-loving, but at the same time resistant to various growing conditions. To maintain shape, it is recommended to timely cut off inflorescences, as the development of seed pods can slow down growth.
Care for canna includes regular watering (as the soil dries out), protection from pests and diseases – rust, gray mold, slugs, caterpillars, aphids, and nematodes. Prevention is carried out with fertilizers, disinfection of the soil, and regular inspection of the plant. In mid-latitude conditions, cannas do not survive the winter, so before the onset of cold, they must be dug up or treated accordingly.
