FANTASTICA

Delphinium "Fantastica" is a perennial plant of the Ranunculaceae family, reaching heights from 50 to 200 cm depending on growing conditions. Its characteristic feature is dense panicle inflorescences of a light pink shade, which bloom from June to October, with secondary blooming possible in August–September after pruning of faded inflorescences.

The plant prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas where it receives protection from direct midday rays. Ideal are fertile loam and sandy-loam soils with moderate moisture; if necessary, a loose nutrient mixture can be used. For planting, the seedling method or direct sowing in open ground is applied, as well as growing in greenhouses.

"Fantastica" easily fits into both group and single flower beds, and is also suitable for cutting due to its resistance to diseases and pests. During care, it is necessary to regularly water the plant during active growth and flowering, fertilize with long-lasting fertilizers in spring and after pruning, and also carry out prevention against snails and slugs. All parts of the delphinium are poisonous, so caution should be observed when working with the plant.
