Destan F1

Destan F1 Eggplant is an early, high-yielding hybrid developed by specialists of the Dutch company Enza Zaden. The vegetative period ranges from 55 to 70 days after transplanting seedlings, allowing its use for early planting both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. The plant is strong, with a well-developed root system, sturdy stems, and dense foliage, tolerating short-term temperature drops and drought, requiring minimal agrotechnical care and exhibiting adaptability to various growing conditions.

The fruits of the Destan F1 eggplant have a rich dark-purple color with a glossy sheen, oval-cylindrical or elongated shape, 25-27 cm long, and average weight of 250-300 grams. They are smooth, even, without thorns on the peduncles, with thin, elastic skin and light, dense flesh free of bitterness and excessive seeds. Due to these qualities, the fruits are suitable for preparing various dishes and for winter preservation, and they are well-suited for long-distance transport without loss of appearance and can be stored in cool, dark places.

The hybrid shows high resistance to tobacco mosaic virus and fusarium, ensuring stable yields and prolonged fruiting. The plant forms abundant fruit set, with more than 15 fruits per plant, without dropping them during temperature changes. The recommended planting density is 30-45 thousand plants per hectare, enabling efficient use of the hybrid in various climatic conditions and agrotechnical systems.
