A highly effective granular phosphorus source for strong root development and crop establishment.
Description
A reliable foundation for crop root system development
In our experience working with soil, phosphorus is the true foundation of a successful yield. Ammophos from 'Agroklondayk' has become our primary solution for ensuring crops get the nutrition they need right from the start. The granules are stable and don’t dust during the filling of the seed drill, which is a major advantage during field operations. The phosphorus is highly soluble, allowing the plant to take it up as soon as moisture becomes available in the soil.
Application and dosage details
Depending on the specific crop and soil conditions, we adjust the application rate between 100 and 400 kg/ha. The most effective method for us is row application during seeding, allowing the root system to access nutrients immediately after germination. With 10–15% Nitrogen and 40–55% Phosphorus, the balance is perfect: it provides a strong boost without the risk of 'burning' the seeds. For winter crops like wheat, barley, and rapeseed, this is our go-to choice for autumn application.
- Versatility: We use it across a wide range of crops, including corn, sunflower, and vegetables.
- Flexible composition: Options with added micronutrients (Sulfur, Boron, Manganese) allow us to fine-tune nutrition for specific fields without the need for expensive additives.
- Practicality: The granules are physically stable, don’t clump, and are easy to handle and store.
Over years of use, we have found that Ammophos from 'Agroklondayk' ensures consistent results. When applied at the correct rates during seeding, the fertilizer pays for itself through uniform germination and improved resilience against spring temperature fluctuations.
