Dyuimovochka

The lawn mix «Duimovchka» is a carefully selected set of seeds of low-growing lawn grass, intended for creating a flat and aesthetically pleasing covering on plots, in gardens and parks. The composition includes 60% red fescue (variety Herald) and 40% fine-leaved meadow fescue (variety Sobra). Such a combination ensures dense growth, resistance to trampling, and low plant height, which makes the lawn suitable both for decorative landscaping and sports fields.

To achieve optimal results when sowing, several key stages must be observed: thoroughly mix the seeds beforehand, sow them at a depth of 1–1.5 cm, and conduct the first watering one day after planting. The sowing rate is 30–40 g/m² (3–4 kg/cent) for light soils and 40–50 g/m² (4–5 kg/cent) for heavy soils, which ensures dense covering without excess growing material. After rooting, the lawn height usually reaches 10 cm; when mowing, it is recommended to maintain a height of 1 to 4 cm in the first few weeks and gradually increase it to 3.5–5 cm after the grass cover has formed.

The lawn «Duimovchka» is characterized by high resistance to various climatic conditions: it withstands sharp temperature fluctuations, retains its green color even during drought, and recovers quickly after intensive use. To maintain the health of the covering, moderate watering and periodic fertilization with organic or mineral fertilizers (3.5–4 kg/100 m² at lawn laying and 1.5–2 kg/100 m² during subsequent feeding) is recommended. With proper care, the mixture ensures a durable, beautiful lawn suitable both for leisure and active sporting events.
