The mechanics of the compression seal

The coupling assembly consists of a threaded body, a tapered collet, and a cap nut. As the nut is tightened, it exerts pressure on the collet, forcing it to compress evenly around the drip tape wall. By removing the internal rubber O-ring, the risk of gasket displacement or degradation during seasonal use is eliminated. The internal waterway is engineered for low pressure drop, ensuring consistent water delivery even at the end of long irrigation laterals.
