Iris 'MARINA RASKOVA' is a versatile variety obtained in 1970 and included in the Russian Federation State Register in 1993. It is characterized by high winter hardiness and is suitable for cultivation in all regions of the country. The plant reaches a height of 115–120 cm, with dark green leaves about 50–60 cm long.
The flower stalks are short-branched, reaching a height of 80–100 cm, though in some specimens they may reach 80 cm. Each flower stalk bears six to ten large flowers with a diameter of 12–14 cm. The flowers are bicolor: the inner tepals are pink, the outer ones are dark pink with lilac streaks, and the beard is red. The scent is strong and pleasant, making this variety particularly valuable for decorative landscaping.
The variety blooms from June 9 for approximately 16 days, providing a bright and long-lasting garden decoration. Thanks to the combination of large flowers, saturated color, and cold resistance, 'MARINA RASKOVA' is an excellent choice for both private gardens and public parks.
