The 'Nekrasy' variety, presented by the FANTSA breeding center, is a product of adaptive selection based on genetic material from the originator Av Du Capitaine N Tchorere. The key feature of this iris lies in the balance between decorative aesthetics and high physiological stability of the flower stalk.

Morphological indicators and resilience

• Flower stalk height: 70–90 cm, an optimal parameter for creating multi-tiered landscape designs without the need for support structures.
• Color palette: A bicolored pattern (white and violet) provides high contrast, making the variety a visual centerpiece in decorative landscaping.

Technically, the variety is engineered for intensive landscaping. The rhizome system possesses high growth energy, allowing the plant to successfully compete with weeds in the first years after planting. The specific petal coloration is determined by the concentration of anthocyanins in the violet sections, which, according to genetic characteristics, maintain color saturation even under exposure to moderate UV radiation.

Practical application in landscaping

Given the 70–90 cm height, this iris is ideally suited for the mid-to-back layers of flower beds. Planting density is calculated based on the rate of rhizome expansion; FANTSA recommends an interval of 30–40 cm to ensure proper aeration and prevent fungal infections. The 'Nekrasy' variety demonstrates stable vegetative development in temperate climate zones, successfully completing its winter dormancy cycle provided that basic agrotechnical soil moisture requirements are met.
