Iris "STERKH" is a compact Siberian variety (Iris sibirica L.), reaching a height of 60 to 75 cm. The leaves are green with a bluish tint, and the clumps form strong, upright flower stalks, typically bearing two to three bright white-cream flowers about 11 cm in diameter.
The flowers of this variety feature a stable coloration: the cream background with its characteristic yellow signal does not fade even under prolonged sunlight. The blooming period lasts approximately two weeks, starting in mid-June and peaking by the end of the month. Due to its high resistance to adverse weather conditions, diseases, and pests, "STERKH" is easy to grow in open squares and parks, and is also suitable for decorating mixed borders and rock gardens.
The variety boasts good hardiness and heat tolerance, making it an ideal choice for forest and forest-steppe zones of Russia.
