Bushes up to 75–80 cm high form 18 to 20 flower stalks, each bearing two to three flowers. Upon blooming, usually one flower opens at a time, but several can open simultaneously on a single stalk. Blooming begins in the third decade of June and lasts about ten to fifteen days.
The variety was developed by the M.A. Lisavenko Institute of Horticulture of Siberia and included in the Russian Federation state register in 2001 for the West Siberian region. Thanks to its sturdy flower stalk and bright blue coloration, VALS CATHUNE is perfect for both garden compositions and landscape design, adding softness and elegance to any area.
