About product
The "Shchedryi 50" variety is a white lupin of universal type, created through intraspecific hybridization followed by individual selection on an artificial infection background. It is distinguished by high productivity: grain yield is 3.2–4.5 t/ha, and dry matter of green mass is 8.5–9.0 t/ha. Description
The vegetative period lasts 115–119 days, allowing for sowing within the standard agricultural calendar.
Key characteristics include a high protein content in seeds (37.6–39.6%) and low alkaloid content (0.023–0.026%). This makes the variety particularly valuable for the feed industry, where high-quality protein is required with minimal toxic risk. Additionally, "Shchedryi 50" exhibits excellent resistance to Fusarium—only 9% infection on an infection background—and high nitrogen-fixing ability, reducing the need for mineral fertilizers.
For sowing, the standard row method with a row spacing of 15 cm (0.9–1.0 million seeds/ha) or wide-row spacing of 45 cm (0.7 million seeds/ha) is recommended. The mass of 1,000 seeds is 350 g. The variety is suitable for cultivation in polissia and other moderate climate zones, where it demonstrates good drought resistance and low susceptibility to diseases. Thanks to its agronomic properties, "Shchedryi 50" is a reliable choice for both grain and green mass production in agricultural plans.
