Anzer F1

Anzer F1 is a medium-maturing hybrid watermelon of the Galia type, primarily intended for cultivation in open fields. The vegetation period ranges from 75 to 80 days, enabling early harvest. The plant develops a strong root system, ensuring resistance to adverse climatic conditions and promoting stable crop development. The hybrid is low-maintenance and versatile, suitable for cultivation in open fields, with mulching, temporary covers, and plastic greenhouses.

Anzer F1 fruits have a round shape and uniform size, weighing between 1.8 to 2.5 kg. The yellow rind features a dense white-gray netting, giving them an attractive market appearance. The flesh is tender, very juicy, and sweet, with a yellowish-white color and the characteristic slight greenish hue near the rind of this type of watermelon. Sugar content (Brix) ranges from 7-13%, ensuring a pleasant taste. The hybrid produces approximately 3-4 fruits per plant, contributing to high yield — up to 20 to 80 tons per hectare.

Anzer F1 exhibits good resistance to major diseases such as powdery mildew, anthracnose, Fusarium wilt, and downy mildew. The fruits withstand long-distance transportation and prolonged storage, making this hybrid profitable for commercial cultivation and marketing. Manual harvesting ensures fruit preservation and high quality. The hybrid is produced in Turkey, confirming its reliability and compliance with modern agronomic standards.
