BOGATYR GREEN

The 'Bogatyr Green' melon variety is an early-maturing cucurbit belonging to the Cucurbitaceae family, also known as Armenian cucumber or snake melon. Its native range includes Iran and Central Asia, where it is widely cultivated. The plant is vigorous, with a main vine reaching 2.5-3 meters in length, bearing 5 to 10 fruits. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to use light, fertile, and permeable soils. The fruits of this variety can be consumed both when mature and when young. Young pickles are used similarly to cucumbers—in salads, pickles, and canning—which expands their application possibilities.
