Carrière F1 is a medium-maturing hybrid of the Ananas type, developed by breeders from the Dutch company Nunhems Zaden. From transplanting seedlings to harvest, it takes 65-70 days, making this variety attractive for open-field cultivation. The plant is compact, with long, sturdy stems and large leaves, capable of active growth even under high solar activity and without watering. Carrière F1 is characterized by its adaptability to growing conditions and ease of care, as well as strong resistance to major diseases and pests of cucurbit crops.

The fruits of Carrière watermelon have an oval, elongated shape with a bright orange rind covered by a dense, pronounced netting. The weight of a single fruit ranges from 2 to 4 kilograms and more, ensuring a good yield per plant. The flesh is dense, juicy, crisp, and uniform, with a rich orange color, intense, pleasant flavor, and characteristic aroma. Thanks to these qualities, the watermelon is popular on fresh markets.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to sunburn, tolerance to temperature fluctuations, and other stress factors, ensuring stable fruiting regardless of weather conditions. Each plant produces a minimum of five fruits, and the fruits withstand transportation well and have good storability, making them convenient for distribution and storage.
