Mlada — a mid-season melon variety, ripening 80-90 days after germination. The fruits of this variety have an oval or round shape, a smooth surface with a characteristic continuous netting, and a bright yellow color without any pattern. The fruit weight ranges from 1.5 to 2.5 kg, making them easy to transport and sell.

Mlada melon flesh is of medium thickness, light cream color, and differs in its crunchy and juicy texture, as well as tenderness. The aroma of the fruits is weak, which allows them to be used fresh, enjoying the natural taste. The variety has good resistance to diseases and drought, which increases its reliability when grown in various climatic conditions.

For successful cultivation, sowing is recommended in May, following a planting scheme of 140 x 60-70 cm between rows and 50-80 cm between holes. The yield of the Mlada variety ranges from 84 to 175 centners per hectare, indicating its high potential. Thanks to its good transportability and commercial qualities, this variety is suitable for both personal consumption and commercial cultivation.
