SOGUR

The African millet variety SOGUR® represents a high-yielding and resilient grain crop intended for cultivation under various climatic conditions. This early-maturing variety is characterized by a short vegetative period and high yield of both seeds and green mass, making it attractive to agronomists and farmers. The average seed yield is approximately 18.1 c/ha, while green mass yield reaches 726 c/ha with a dry matter output of about 160 c/ha. The crop's foliar coverage is 54%, which contributes to efficient biomass accumulation.

The SOGUR variety has an elevated protein content in absolutely dry matter, ranging from 10.3% to 15.9%, ensuring high nutritional value for feed. Thanks to these characteristics, millet is widely used for producing high-quality feed for cattle, pigs, poultry, and other animals. Moreover, the variety demonstrates resistance to root rots, enhancing its reliability and reducing crop loss risks.

Phytosanitary studies conducted in Russia confirm that the SOGUR variety meets all major standards and norms, making it safe and effective for cultivation. Seed production of this variety is recommended primarily in the Central-Black Earth and North Caucasus regions, although the culture successfully adapts to other regions of the country.
