Core Engineering: The WM170F Engine

The Weima WM1100A is built around the WM170F four-stroke gasoline engine, delivering 7 horsepower. The standout feature of this power plant is the cast-iron cylinder sleeve, designed to withstand the abrasive dust typical of agricultural environments. The Overhead Valve (OHV) configuration ensures efficient thermal management and lowers fuel consumption during long-duration tilling sessions.

Transmission and Drivetrain

Power is delivered via a multi-plate wet clutch. Unlike belt-driven systems, this design is specifically engineered for high-torque applications, preventing slippage and overheating when operating heavy tillers or pulling loaded trailers. The gearbox offers a 2-forward, 1-reverse speed range, providing the necessary mechanical advantage for various field tasks.

• Gearbox/Reduction Unit: A heavy-duty cast-iron housing protects the gear assembly. Cast iron is chosen for its vibration-dampening properties and resistance to mechanical impact when encountering underground obstacles like stones.
• Power Take-Off (PTO): The rear-mounted PTO shaft allows for the integration of active implements, such as rotary mowers, sprayers, or water pumps.
• Handlebar Design: Fully adjustable for both height and side-to-side oscillation. This allows the operator to walk on unplowed ground, improving maneuverability and operator comfort.

The balance of the Weima WM1100A is biased towards the front. This forward-leaning geometry naturally forces the cultivator tines into firm, compacted soil, reducing the need for the operator to exert excessive downward pressure.
