Description
The variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests, as well as good germination – about 90%. Successful cultivation requires a warm environment with good lighting and regular watering. "Balet" can be cultivated in open ground, greenhouses, and containers, providing flexibility in planting planning.
Care for the plant is simple: it is sufficient to maintain fertile, well-drained soil, regularly loosen the rows, and water. Fruits are harvested 45–60 days after germination and can be stored for no more than 10 days at temperatures from 2 to 10 °C. Due to the content of mucilaginous substances, okra is beneficial for peptic ulcer and gastritis, and is suitable for boiling, frying, and drying.
