Description
Paulownia ZE PRO – a cold-hardy variety obtained through In Vitro method, successfully growing in climatic conditions of Ukraine and other temperate zones. Seedlings about 25 cm high with a well-developed root system can withstand temperatures down to -28 °C, making them ideal for mass plantings in both city parks and industrial plots.
The tree grows rapidly: under favorable conditions, it reaches 20 meters by 4-5 years of life, with an annual growth of up to 4 m. Leaves 20-50 cm wide create dense shade and actively absorb carbon dioxide – on average 22 kg per tree per year, while releasing about 6 kg of oxygen. Thanks to these characteristics, paulownia becomes an effective means of fighting soil erosion and forming windbreak strips.
Beautiful purple-white flowering lasts up to a month and a half, attracting bees and creating a pleasant aroma. The tree can be used as a decorative element in gardens and parks, as well as as part of agrotechnical systems due to high resistance to diseases and moisture. It is recommended to plant according to a 5 × 5 m scheme; planting is possible in spring and autumn. The variety is suitable for growing in northern and temperate latitudes, requires minimal care, and ensures stable productivity both in landscape design and in agriculture.
