Bowl of Cream

Peony 'Bowl of Cream' is a herbaceous, milk-flowered group variety known for its large, double, rose-like flowers in a creamy-white hue. The blooms reach up to 20 cm in diameter and possess a soft, pleasant fragrance with subtle spicy notes. The center of the flower is adorned with bright yellow stamens, giving it a special glow. The leaves are large and dark green, while the stems grow to about 95 cm tall, making this variety suitable for cutting and bouquet arrangements.

This cultivar was developed in the USA in 1963 by breeder Clemens and rightfully received numerous awards, including the Gold Medal from the American Peony Society and the Champion title at the national exhibition. Peony 'Bowl of Cream' prefers sunny locations for planting, where it fully displays its decorative beauty from late May to early June. Each stem produces one large main bud and up to three secondary buds, allowing the flowers to bloom in waves and remain fresh for up to two weeks.
