The ‘Champion’ tree peony is a product of the breeding program at the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine. The variety demonstrates genetic resilience to Ukrainian climatic zones, making it a reliable choice for local landscaping projects.

The technical focus of ‘Champion’ lies in the hybrid structure of its flowers, which exhibit both double and semi-double characteristics. With a bloom diameter ranging from 15 to 20 cm, the plant requires specific agricultural management to support its architectural integrity. The deep burgundy petal color is achieved through a high density of anthocyanins, which retain intensity under moderate solar exposure.
