The 'Madyarochka' peony is a distinct result of the selective breeding conducted by the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine. Unlike imported varieties, this hybrid is acclimated to local environmental conditions, ensuring reliable floral bud development even after inconsistent winter seasons.

This herbaceous peony forms a compact, sturdy bush reaching 80 cm in height. The stems possess the structural rigidity required to support heavy, double-type flowers with a diameter of 22 cm without the need for additional staking. Technical specifications include:

• Color Palette: Deep red and burgundy hues, featuring pigment resistance to UV degradation.
• Flowering Window: Early blooming (May 15–30), providing significant landscape impact early in the season.
• Flower Morphology: Double-type structure with dense petal arrangement, ideal for garden and border decoration.

Realizing the full genetic potential of 'Madyarochka' relies on two key factors: light intensity and substrate quality. As a sun-loving variety, it requires high levels of direct solar radiation to optimize photosynthesis and pigment saturation. Regarding soil composition, the cultivar performs best in fertile loamy soils.
