MINZIFA

Peony MINZIFA — a hybrid peony variety created by Bashkir scientists and included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements of the Russian Federation. This variety is intended for cultivation in the central region of Russia and is distinguished by high adaptability to local soil and climatic conditions, outperforming many foreign analogs in terms of stability. The peony bush reaches a height of about 60 cm and a diameter of 65 cm, has medium foliage density and a compact form during full flowering.

The flowers of the MINZIFA peony are semi-double, semi-spherical, of medium diameter of about 16 cm, with a bright reddish-purple coloration that fades slightly in the sun. The outer petals are long, elliptical with notched edges, while the inner ones are lanceolate and of medium width. Flowering lasts about two weeks, accompanied by a strong pleasant aroma. The plant's leaves are glossy, moderately yellowish-green, with acutely elliptical segments, while the petioles have a reddish-brown coloration.

Peony MINZIFA is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests, as well as good winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and heat resistance. These qualities make it in demand both for decorative greening and for cutting. Thanks to the original flower shape and rich coloration, the variety is popular among gardeners and landscape designers.
