UFA DAWN

The Peony Ufa Dawn is a hybrid variety created by Bashkir scientists at the Botanical Garden of Ufa. It is intended for cultivation in the central region of Russia and is widely used in landscaping and cut flower arrangements thanks to its decorative qualities and hardiness. Bushes reach a height of about 60 cm and a diameter of 60 cm, have medium foliage density, and a semi-flushed, compact shape at the full flowering stage. Stems are thin, without anthocyanin coloration, and leaves are a rich yellowish-green color with a glossy surface and a characteristic segment shape. Flowers are double, spherical, of medium diameter about 13 cm, with a pleasant aroma. Outer petals are inversely ovoid in shape, pale purple-pink shade with distinct spots and a notched edge; inner petals have an indefinite shape and similar coloration. Flower color fades slightly in the sun, maintaining its decorative appeal throughout the entire flowering period, which lasts about 15 days. The variety is characterized by high resistance to adverse weather conditions, including drought and heat, as well as diseases and pests. It is winter-hardy and adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the central region of Russia, making it a reliable choice for gardeners and landscape designers. Ufa Dawn does not fall short of foreign varieties in quality, combining decorative qualities, hardiness, and ease of care.
