ZARNICA

The ZARNICA peony is a hybrid of the escaping and thin-leaved peonies, distinguished by its super early flowering period. Each stem of this plant is adorned with abundant flowers, making the blooming particularly spectacular. In addition to vibrant flowers, the lace-like finely dissected leaves add decorativeness to the bush throughout the season, creating an elegant and airy appearance.

This herbaceous perennial plant reaches a height of up to 80 cm and blooms in May. The flowers of the ZARNICA peony have a bright pink hue and a spherical shape with a diameter of up to 16 cm, making them a noticeable garden ornament. The peony is characterized by high frost resistance, withstanding temperatures down to -28.9 °C, and is undemanding regarding soil type and acidity, preferring moderate moisture.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to feed the plant with nitrogen-rich mineral fertilizers in early spring, and to apply phosphorus and potassium during the formation of flower buds.
