BLUE STAR

Petunia «Blue Star» – a large-flowered hybrid variety that captivates with its bright two-tone coloring: a dark blue background with a white star in the center of each flower, 7–10 cm in diameter. The plant reaches a height of 60–80 cm, while the vines form long, elastic cascades that look great in planters as well as hanging baskets.

The variety is distinguished by high decorative quality and durability under home growing conditions. Seeds can be sown for seedlings by the end of February–March; at the first sprouts, they are placed in a mini-greenhouse or under a phyto-lamp to provide warmth. After seedlings appear, the plants are easily transplanted into planters – they grow quickly and start flowering in June, with flowering continuing until October.

For successful growth, «Blue Star» prefers loose, well-draining soil with good aeration. Regular fertilization is important: first – nitrogen fertilizers for active growth, then – a phosphorus-potassium group throughout the season. With proper care, the plant forms bright floral cascades and delights the eye with a long flowering period.
