The primary function of the Pionier tedder is to maximize aeration of the crop to accelerate the dehydration process. Unlike standard rakes, the 'Vertushka' model utilizes a centrifugal mechanism that lifts the plant mass, flips it mid-air, and deposits it onto dry stubble. This action is essential for preserving nutrient density, as it prevents the bottom layer of the swath from fermenting or decaying.

Core mechanical assemblies

• Rotary Gearbox. The heart of the unit is housed in a sealed casing, which protects internal components from dust and organic debris. The use of precision-cut helical gears ensures smooth operation even under high PTO speeds, significantly reducing vibrational stress on the tractor's three-point hitch.

Their specific curvature allows for 'combing' the crop without shattering the fragile leaves of leguminous plants, where most protein content is concentrated.

In field conditions, the Pionier tedder provides a significant reduction in the drying cycle—typically by 20–30%—depending on ambient humidity.
