The Primula 'Den Pobedy' (Day of Victory) is a selection developed by the FGBNU Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing, optimized for dense spring ground cover. The hybrid's genetic code is balanced to minimize vegetative bulk while maximizing floral density.

Morphological Specifications

• Height: 10–15 cm. The compact rosette of oval leaves acts as a natural mulch, preventing premature soil dehydration at the root zone.
• Bloom Diameter: 5–7 cm. These dimensions represent the upper threshold for this category, achieved through efficient nutrient concentration in the peduncle.
• Coloration: Multicolored, allowing for high-contrast landscaping applications.

Cultivation and Operational Requirements

The plant requires strict light management: direct sunlight triggers leaf scorch and reduces the bloom cycle duration. Partial shade is the optimal growth environment, where photosynthetic intensity balances with transpiration. A critical technical aspect of maintenance is the soil substrate; a well-drained medium is mandatory to prevent water stagnation. Although consistent moisture is required, the root system is highly susceptible to waterlogging. For container cultivation, it is recommended to use a neutral pH substrate with high humus content to support large flower development.
