This variety has high yields – from 4.5 to 4.7 kg of petioles per square meter. For optimal growth, planting one or two plants per square meter is recommended, and when sowing seeds – a depth of 2 cm and a density of 80×80 cm. The period from regrowth to technical maturity is about 30–35 days, which allows for the first harvest as early as May.
Malachite is distinguished by its resistance to diseases and frost hardiness, making it easy to grow both in open ground and under domestic conditions. This makes the variety a popular choice for gardeners who wish to obtain a reliable source of vitamin C and tasty greens without extra trouble.
