Lazio F1 — this is a fast-maturing spinach hybrid that reaches technical maturity as early as 30-40 days after sowing. The plant is characterized by high yield and practically no tendency to bolting, allowing for quality harvest without loss of marketable properties. The leaves of Lazio F1 are large, round, dark green with slight waviness and pleasant aroma. This variety is resistant to cold and can be grown both in spring and autumn, making it versatile for various climatic conditions. Sowing seeds is recommended at a depth of 2-3 cm with row spacing of 20-25 cm, with a seeding rate of 2.5-3 grams per square meter. After germination, it is necessary to regularly remove weeds and loosen the soil to improve aeration. Under hot weather conditions, frequent watering is required to increase yield. Plants should be thinned twice: the first thinning leaves a distance of 7-8 cm between plants, and the second — 15 cm, which promotes formation of strong and healthy foliage. Lazio F1 is versatile in use: its leaves are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for processing, canning, and freezing. Due to its high protein content, comparable only to meat, this spinach is a valuable dietary product often included in weight-loss and healthy eating diets. Care for the plant requires attention to weeding and watering, especially under strong sunlight, to prevent premature flowering and maintain harvest quality.
